Versa not syncing with iPhone 6S

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have to turn my Versa off once a week because it won’t sync with mi apple 6xs phone. Told to turn off Bluetooth. Forget device.  Turn off Versa. Try to to Versa on (30 minutes later). Erase app. Put app on my phone.  Really disappointed in this and wishing I had made a better choice in devices.

Hello @Gidgetz, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention and for sharing with me the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. At this moment if your Versa is still not syncing correctly with your phone, please try the following:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. If the device doesn't appear move to steps 2.
  2. Restart your phone.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and tap on Account > Versa
  4. Scroll down until you find "All-day Sync" and enable it.
  5. When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.

This process will establish a Bluetooth connection between your phone and your Versa, making it easier to be located by the app and even sync in the background when your phone is locked.

Don't worry, All-day Sync won't drain the battery on your Versa or your phone faster than usual.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hello @Gidgetz, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have taken the time to let me know you have already tried the troubleshooting steps in my previous post without success. At this moment I'd like to suggest you to set up your Versa as a new device to reset the connection between the watch and your phone. Don't worry, none of the information already stored in the account will be deleted.

To set up your Versa as a new device:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  4. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.
  5. When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome!

Doesn't work for me either.  The more you run over a dead cat the flatter it gets.

Yeah I’m having problems with my Fitbit versa.. it worked when I 1st brought it. Now I can’t even change the time, can’t sync it to my fone it won’t connect in settings. And yes I’ve turned it off, turned it on many many times ..  let it go flat. Charged it . Nothing works.
