Versa notifications issue

I have an iPhone 8 (version 13.4.1) and a new standard Versa (version 70.8.0). I’ll have days where I’ll get notifications no problem then all of a sudden it’ll stop. At first I found that after turning on sleep mode at night, the notifications would stop coming in once I turned off sleep mode. So I stopped doing that.

 

However it keeps happening and I’m really getting fed up with it especially where it stops after working for a while and nothing has changed. 

I have to then disconnect the Versa and reconnect it in order to get it working which is tedious. Here’s what the settings are: 

  • Share system notifications is on under Bluetooth.
  • The phone and the watch both have do not disturb turned off. 
  • Message previews are turned on in the phone settings. 
  • Text messages/calls/calendar events are turned on under notifications in the app.
  • App notifications are turned on. 

Anybody that has any suggestions? I’m about ready to just return it.
