Versa syncs just when the Fitbit app is open

Do you have to have the fitbit app open on your iphone to have a versa app connect to the phone if the versa watch is already connected.  Exercise apps and some others will not connect unless the app is open on my iphone.

Hi @TuckFulane. It's great to have you on board! I'll help you with your inquiry.

 

While your Versa is connected to your phone, you'll need to open the Fitbit app each time so your Fitbit device can sync. You can also keep all-day sync turned on, so the Versa can sync on the background:

 

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap the Account icon.
  2. Tap on the Versa's image.
  3. Scroll down and enable "All day sync".
  4. Note that the Bluetooth needs to be enabled so your Versa can automatically sync.
