Versa will not sync for long...

My Fitbit will not sync for long. I brought it mostly to monitor my sleep however it always stops syncing after a few days. I charge it and it still won’t sync. It won’t find my wifi and refuses to find Bluetooth on my iPad and phone. I have to keep adding it as a new device, keep typing in my wifi password and pushing both buttons on my Versa and then when it finally connects I have lost all my sleep data for the time it would not sync! This is extremely upsetting and frustrating! Why does it keep doing this?

Hello @MidSpring

I understand your having syncing issues. It appears as if you have tried multiple troubleshooting steps. I would suggest reinstalling your Fitbit App. First try turning your Bluetooth off then back on to see if that resolves your issue. If not just uninstall the Fitbit app then shut down your device, wait 1-2 mins then restart your device. Once your device is fully loaded then head to the App Store and download the Fitbit app. (Make sure your Bluetooth is indeed on right now) Once it’s downloaded just sign in as you normally would with your email address and password. Now don’t touch anything at this moment just wait till you see the Bluetooth prompts (it won’t take long) You will see Bluetooth prompts to pair so of course tap “Always”. You Will Not lose your data reinstalling the app.
😃 Please get back with me to let me know if this does indeed resolve your issue and answer your question.

Thank you for your help. Yes that worked and it kept my sleep data this time! It’s annoying that I have to do this every few days. Ive had this Versa for around 8mths and it never used to be like that. It’s only started happening the last 2 months. It did not give me a prompt to Bluetooth “always” when I followed your instructions, but I sure am glad it at least didn’t erase my data this time! Once again thank you MegaBite.
