Versa won't receive text notifications

My Fitbit Versa will no longer show my text messages and will occasionally vibrate when I receive a call. I have an iPhone XR and it says it is synced yet still nothing. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled but nothing.

I was having the same problem and I have an iPhone X. On my phone I went to settings < general < reset down at the bottom < reset all settings and that worked for me

My turn for trouble. I can't receive anything on my watch other than calls. I have tried everything on this post. Super annoying and the reason I bought a versa was to receive messages as I'm hard of hearing and rely on the vibrating to know when one comes in. I wonder if fitbit will fix this issue or if I should have just spent more money on an apple watch

This worked! I have tried everything up to this point. I was getting all notifications EXCEPT for texts and this solved the problem. Follow it step by step and it will work.

I have tried all of the other suggestions on here, and this is the only one that has FINALLY worked after not receiving text messages on my iPhone7 for 6 months! Thank you!

IPhone 11x half the time I do t get texts. Most of the times Alexa doesn’t work.?

i guess you get what you pay for. When it breaks I’m done with Fitbit

I had to change my message notifications to preview on lock screen

I already did that. My son has iPhone 10 and I don’t get his or Samsung either very selective

That’s weird I had an iPhone 6 and had no problems and then I upgraded to iPhone XR and now having problems

I completed all above steps many times and still don’t get messages on my fit bit - I get calls, emails and Facebook notifications but no messages! Super frustrated about to take the fit bit back - any last minute advice to try and save it?!? (iPhone user)
