Hi there @FLJeff. Welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂
With the new dashboard, it will be kind of monochromatic. If you notice in the image below, the progress circles will vary from a blue color to a turquoise color when you're close to your daily goal. Once you reach your goal, the circle will turn completely green.
Currently, there is no way to change the color of the tiles as you get nearer to your goal except for the tone variation.

I agree! The new design is nice, but it was nicer to have a better color indication of how close you were to your goals.

@kalimm @FLJeff I'd recommend creating a feature request to have better color indication on the iOS preview dashboard.
Top-voted feature requests get relayed to our product development team for consideration. Hope this helps!
