Very old Fitbit one

I recently found my Fitbit one that I thought I lost. The app says last synced in 2015!  I charged it. The app says battery full. When on the charger it will sync and say Fitbit (mileage). But nothing else. When off charger it will not sync. Is my Fitbit dead??

Please verify that you have the latest app version available. 

 

Restart your One: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Go to you profile picture and try to set the one up as a new device without removing it from the account.
