The wallet tile first reappeared after the app was reinstalled. Now the tile is gone again.

I appreciate you have come back and let us know about this situation. Tell me, have you recently removed a card from the Wallet Tile? Have you removed the Wallet Tile from your watch? This information will be helpful for our team.

I have a Fitbit Charge 4

use an iPhone 12 Pro Max

downloaded the Fitbit app from Apple.

Based in Australia.

My watch says to set up the wallet feature l should open the app, tap on the logo, then my profile pic and click on set up wallet then, follow the steps.

That would be just great IF THE WALLET OPTION WAS ACTUALLY THERE!!

The whole point of buying the watch was to not only monitor my steps etc but make life a little easier so l don’t have to keep pulling out my phone to use the wallet feature but just tap my watch..

So disappointed 😔

@KSommers   Please try this path.  Tap on your Profile picture, then your Charge 4 tile.  Now you should see the Wallet tile in the top group of square tiles.

@KSommers   According to your screenshot, your Charge 4 isn't on your account.  Your screenshot says that all your steps and activity are coming from MobileTrack, the feature that uses your phone sensors.  You're not a brand new user, so I'm confident that you added it to your account when you got it.  And it makes no sense at all that you are getting that bizarre set up your wallet notification.

If you press the button on your Charge 4, does it go back to what should be the previous screen, the Wallet app icon?  Can you push the button again and get back to your clock face?  If your Fitbit doesn't respond to any button commands, try restarting it by putting it in the charger, then press and hold the button for about 8 seconds.  Release the button and a smiley face should appear.  I'm hoping you get the scrolling setup screen.  Add it back to you account using the + Set Up a Device option.

Your situation is really bizarre.  Feel free to contact Support at any step along the way to get in contact with a real CS tech.  I'm a knowledgeable user.

I reinstalled it because it keeps disappearing and finally found the wallet entered my card details but now waiting forever to verify the card because it’s not sending anything to my phone. It has the correct number because l have received other codes etc then when l go to the Fitbit so-called 24 hr online chat, after the bot goes through the replies you just sit there forever and a day waiting for someone to respond.

I had just checked and now the silly app isn’t showing the charge 4 being connected so no idea what the heck is going on. Whoever designed it needs to be fired it’s the worst app l have ever used but have no choice given you need it to work with the watch. It’s weird because even without the watch showing as connected to it, it’s still logging the steps etc that are on my watch.

Now reinstalled Charge 4 again. And now the thing is saying the following even though it sent no code 🤦‍:female_sign:

226E83A9-7E93-42E3-9394-E4A23A95C1DC.jpeg

buggared if l know how to request a new code, because even when I hit cancel then verify later and do the same step > clicking the mobile number then selecting to send a code this same popup shows.

how do l request a new code if the staff at Fitbit don’t respond and the silly thing isn’t sending any messages to the phone number with a verification code?

@KSommers   I think you need to look at this as two problems. One -- why is your account losing your device?  Two -- can you set up your wallet after you get your Charge 4 to stay on your account?  BTW, I suspect that error message is left over from when your Charge 4 first went wacky.

I searched the forum for your first problem.  I can't find any other threads.  I also think that having MobileTrack active is clouding the issue -- not a cause, but it is counting steps and adding them to your account.  I recommend disconnecting MobileTrack as you continue to troubleshoot.  If your Charge 4 is on your account, please make sure it is stable before trying to put your card in your wallet.

As painful as it sounds, you do need Support for more help.

I dont have MobileTrack
I finally contacted staff for Fitbit and they were at a loss as to why I can't validate my card, it appears that when I finally got to see the wallet option and entered my card details the next step is to validate it, well it says that it's sending a code to my mobile number, all good except nothing came through.
Under notifications Calls, Text Messages and Calendar events are all on, but no sms is received.
On other parts of the app I get SMS's okay but no luck on validating the credit card.

Typically the staff said they would have someone get back to me on how to fix this issue... No email, no phone call... nada!
