Water/StepsperHour/Calories for Past Days show Current Day's numbers

Hello... Every since the forced updated to the new dashboard have seen something odd.  For the IPhone app only, the website is okay,  for the Water, Steps per Hour, and Calories for the current day is what is displayed in the dashboard for ALL previous days.  Is this expected?   If I select the tile go into the actual log the correct numbers are displayed.   So this seems to point tothe app being changed so that if it is not listed "above the line"  that it will only display the current day.   With the old dashboard, it always showed the sum up for all items for the specific day - which is what I preferred.

Also is it expected that I cannot arrange the tiles around so customize my view? Again this was something that used to be doable.  For example now the top two tiles displayed are number of days with exercise and sleep.   Well I would be much more interested in seeing my water consumption and my calorie intake as the top two tiles..  If someone knows a way to rearrange the tile positions, can you please share?

Hi salaydouk

Have moved this thread from the Flex to the iOS App section to increase the chance of getting a solution.

Hi @salaydouk, welcome to the Community! Smiley Very Happy I suggest you to take a look of this thread which has a few responses regarding the usage of the new iOS Dashboard.

The new dashboard design highlights your daily progress in a new daily stats tile. You'll see your activity stats, such as floors, miles, calories, and active minutes in a new tile. You can tap each stat to see more detail and your history. Additionally, the other tiles have a new look and contain more detailed information if you tap each tile. The tiles below the daily stats tile show your most recent information, even if you're looking at your stats for another day. To view your stats for a previous day, tap the individual tiles to see your history.

Now, to change the tiles you see on your dashboard, in the Fitbit app for iOS tap Edit, or in the Fitbit app for Windows 10 tap or click the pencil icon, however, you must have iOS 9 or greater installed on your iOS mobile device to edit your dashboard.

Hi there,

It's not very intuitive that I go to my dashboard, click to see yesterday's totals and Calories In shows the numbers for today. It should show the totals for yesterday, of course! It shouldn't be so hard to fix the dashboard so it shows what we would expect for past days. Other tiles work fine, but not the one for Cals In. Is there a Feature Request we can vote for this?

Thank you!

Samanta

I understand very well, on the main screen, when I click to see yesterday's stats my water block shows "todays" log. Why would anyone not want to see their full days history? There are other things that are annoying with the app I am very disappointed. I also dont understand why I keep being directed to use other platforms when I prefer to log things on my phone. I know I can log online, but I am not always online so functionality is important to me.

Hi,

I understand how you can view your history on each individual tile, but it would be super convenient to see the history at a glance on the front page with the "main" stats. It is made to be an "at a glance" system.

Hi there @samantams and welcome aboard to our Community @zlstar. I understand your concerns about the functionality of the app since by changing dates only affect the main stat tile. The intention of this was to give the user a faster access to the main information and for secondary stats are split individually with the option to see more details when you access separately on this tiles.

This change has been implemented across all the mobile platforms which started with iOS and now is on Android.

About the suggestion you are asking @samantams, there is one that you can find here: Ability to see previous days with all tiles on iOS app. Feel free to give your vote and share your comments. Our product team looks forward to reading and incorporating your suggestions into future versions of Fitbit trackers and apps.

See you around and thank you for your feedback.
