Thanks for being part of our Community @afitlyon! This sounds really odd. I think that logging out of the app, rebooting your phone and then logging back in can be of help in this case.
If after this the issue persist, please send an screenshot to better understand the issue.

Thanks for posting back @afitlyon! Welcome to the Fitbit Community @nancyslee! I tried to replicate the issue, but my water logged correctly. Can you please check that you have the latest app version? To update the Fitbit app to a newer version:

I have the same problem, and it seems this was never resolved. When logging water it often fails to add the amount, and sometimes the logged amount disappears. This problem does not seem to exist on my desktop Fitbit on my MacBook. Right now, the desktop app shows 1690 ml water whereas the iPhone app only shows 1530ml.
I have the latest FitbitApp, and my phone is an iPhone 6, IOS 10.3.3.

Here we are at the end of 2019 and I am still having this issue. It seems to come and go. Any resolutions?
