Users have requested this time and time again. Each time, a moderator will reply by saying it’s a muted topic and send everyone to a years-old thread that is locked, or they will say that the request belongs in feature request.

Enough is enough.

The year is 2021. Every app has a dark mode or theme compatible with the device’s operating system. It’s actually the easiest thing to do in developing an app, but for some reason, Fitbit is extremely resistant to the idea and is stubborn about preventing a dark theme.

Why?

It’s a general pattern of behavior. Fitbit particularly does not like Apple, and has always struggled with the iOS app. Whenever users request a bug fix or a new feature, they are met with a passive hostility.

Customers pay steep prices for Fitbit devices, only to have their requests turned down.

If that continues? Nobody will be buying them anymore. I know 4 people, personally, who within recent years have thrown away their Fitbit and exchanged it for different fitness trackers. Each of them had complained that Fitbit’s support and it’s features were garbage and stagnated.

Hello @SR1025  Fitbit moderators do their jobs, using the Terms of Service as their guide. The Feature Suggestions forum area is where suggestions are voted upon and brought to the attention of those who will ultimately implement them. I know a lot of people who left Garmin and Apple to use Fitbit products. Google just became the owner of Fitbit at the end of January and I'm sure, given time, they will have new features released.
