Hi @Lwarnerx6. Welcome to the forums! In order to help you, we will need more info. Which iPhone do you have and which Fitbit device?  Please check on your iPhone to make sure you have the latest updat for the Fitbit app.

Hi all, same issue, same symptoms.  If it makes a difference, my Versa/iPhone is asking AccuWeather for weather information from Canada.

Hello @Lwarnerx6, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @MattClare. It's always great to see you @SunsetRunner, thanks for all your help. Smiley Happy

@Lwarnerx6 and @MattClare, I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience and information requested with us. Please note that if your Fitbit Versa has not synced lately, the information in the Weather app will not update either. If you have trouble syncing your Versa, please check the following:

  • Make sure the latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your phone.
  • The software on your mobile device is up to date. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around as they might interfere with the syncing process
  • Check that your Fitbit device's battery isn't critically low.

If your device still won't sync, try these steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  3. Open the Fitbit app.
  4. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app.
  6. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart it
  7. If your Fitbit device won't sync after the restart, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
  8. If your Fitbit device still doesn’t sync, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your mobile device and try to sync.

On the other hand, if your Versa is syncing but the Weather app is not, please delete it from your Versa, and install it back. I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know in case you need anything else.

Thanks @MarcoGFitbit.

Done some updating, done some syncing. I'd agree that restarting is a handy trick.  Still no updates to weather in the weather app.

Just to clarify your advices to "delete it", is "it" the it the Weather app on my watch/Fitbit app or the Fitbit app itself?

In my experience you can't delete the Weather app from your watch.

Here's a comparison of the delete options for Weather and another third-party app for context - perhaps there's a different method I should be aware of.

Thanks,

My issue is that my Versa syncs but weather says "Sync the Fitbit mobile app to update".  How do I delete and reinstall weather on the Versa?  My desktop app doesn't show me what apps are on it.
