Does Fitbit have permission in the notification center?
I've moved your iOS question out of the android thread. These are two different system's.

Yes, two different systems with same problem. Would that not indicate a issue with Fitbit @Rich_Laue?

Probably not.
The Fitbit android app will not run on iOS and same for the other way around.
Notifications are handled by the two Operating systems differently.. Permissions and settings are enabled different locations.
For android it is helpful to clear cache then restart the phone. IOS does not have the memory management issue that android does.
I could ask you to go to phone settings - Apps - Fitbit - permissions. Could you follow this.
I can also ask you to go to phone settings - notifications - Fitbit but in iOS this would be found in your notification center.
