I have a FitBit Versa and I updated my watch Tuesday of this week. Up until that, my accuweather app was working wonderfully. Now it is not and is saying I need to synch it to the FitBit Mobile app. I have been on the support site and chatted with someone and that did not work. I have tried everything I need to do. I read on another community site that I may need to change my clock face. I will if I have to, but I love my "Treksy" clock face. (my son is a big Star Trek fan)
Is there no other way to get my weather app working again? Please help me. I promise I will never update my watch again.

Thanks for sharing that your Versa has been updated, as well for taking the time to get in touch with our Support Team. I appreciate you for visiting our Community Forums, and let me clarify that you'll not need to change the clock face to get the Weather app working. However, there are other factors that may prevent this app from updating, so please check the following settings:
1. Location services must be set to "Always" for the Fitbit app. For instructions, check this help article.
2. All-day sync must be turned on in the Fitbit app.
3. The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.
Then, if you've not done so, I'd suggest the following steps:
1. Remove your device from the Bluetooth settings in your phone.
2. Force quit the Fitbit app by swiping up from the open apps.
3. Open the Fitbit app and tap your device's icon.
4. Sync one more time.
5. Once your device has synced, check the Weather app. It can take a few minutes to see the updated list of locations on your device.

You are the BOMB!!!
Thank you so much for your guidance in getting my weather app back on my
FitBit Versa. I just love my Versa and felt it just was not complete somehow with
the weather app out of commission. Plus, I felt responsible for it's "destruction",
if you will, following the update.
Now, will this be an issue after each update? I have saved your very learned information
in its own folder just in the off chance I may need it again.

I'm glad to hear that the Weather app is now working on your Versa and thanks for the love. I remember that one day, on my way to the gym the battery ran out and I felt so lost without it. About your inquiry, it shouldn't happen again, but let me suggest to make sure each setting is correct after any update so you can keep envying the experience.
