Hello @Johnnybrovo
Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I’m happy you stopped by and asked a really great question. No having your location services will not unnecessarily drain your battery very much. Just keep an eye on your battery level until you can tell a pattern you can work with. Meaning as an example: you noticed that your currently charging your Fitbit every 5-6 days. Since the location update you have noticed that now it needs charged every 4-5 days. If your like me I have life patterns so I hit the Alta AH charger every Saturday and Wednesday without even looking at the battery level. Just a habit so I’m always running with battery juice.
😃 I hope I was able to provide you with the best answer to your question. Please let me know.
