Weekly report not matching with iPhone data

My weekly fitbit report indicated 43,000 steps for the week but showed nothing for last Wed, Thursday, Friday or Saturday.  My phone records steps for all 7 days and gives me a weekly total of 83,000.  Why the difference ?

@Tomwayne Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

Your weekly report will show all the data until Sunday or Monday depending the day that you set your week to start. If your week starts on Sunday and your watch/tracker didn't sync on Saturday, even though you had data tracked these days, it won't show on your weekly report but will still show on your account when you sync. Could you let me know how often are you syncing?

I don’t do anything in particular to sync it. It seems to sync
automatically whenever I open the app.

I only noticed that it had failed to sync for 4 days last week because my
weekly step count was aBout 40,000 below average. When I investigated I
noted that my phone had NO steps at all for four days.

@Tomwayne Thanks for getting back.

Since your watch/tracker didn't sync this is why your weekly report wasn't complete. You may want to check this article to learn more about: How do Fitbit devices sync their data?
