When will Fitbit be compatible with the iPhone X?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I was told Fitbit isn't compatible with the iPhone x  or ios 11.

Fitbit rep stated they don't  know when there will be an update to fix this.

I can't even use the gps to map my walks. This is very upsetting.

I got it to work once the new iOS update came out. I tried EVERYTHING before that. But I’m good now! Thanks. ☺️

I just got an iPhone X a couple of days ago and was having the same problem.  I contacted the online chat with Fitbit and was told it was not compatible yet.  Just now I decided to uninstall the Fitbit app from my phone and re download.  After I logged in to the app, it said it would like to pair with my Fitbit and it worked.  All my stats from the tracker synced up as well.

Hope this helps.

I just read another post and it worked. Delete the app itself and reload it. Once I did that and logged back in it worked immediately.  I hope this works for you.

I can't explain why, but my iPhone X and Fitbit started working together a few days ago. I will never understand why it took so long but I am thrilled that everything has now synced.

And you’ve done the newest iOS update, then delete the app, turn off Bluetooth, redownload app, sign back into the app, and turn Bluetooth back on, then pair through app? That everything I did. But I think mine was more the iOS update, so make sure to go to general and check for software update to be sure.

Hello everyone, I hope you're having a great day. It's a pleasure for me to welcome some of you to the Fitbit Community! Smiley Happy

Please note that the iPhone X has been recently added to the list of supported devices, which means your trackers should be able to sync and receive notifications from it. If your tracker is having trouble syncing, and you have already restarted your tracker and your phone, please try the following:

  1. Update the app if you haven't already.
  2. Update the OS on your mobile device if you haven't done it yet.
  3. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and try to sync again, if you receive a pop-up asking you to pair your tracker to your phone, tap on Pair and your tracker will begin syncing.

If after following these steps your tracker is still not syncing, let's try to add your tracker as a new device in order to reset the connection between your phone and the tracker. Don't worry, none of the information already stored in your account will be deleted.

To set up your tracker as a new device:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  3. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
