Since the beginning of September 2024 (6 months ago), the iOS app stopped showing steps for today and not showing for previous days. Sometimes with a bunch of dragging down to force sync, it will show today's steps but they don't go to yesterday.
The data is there somewhere, Vitality gives me points on days that I reach 5,000; 10;000; or 15,000 steps.
Looking back through my history of steps in the app just now, it shows steps on Jan. 17th, 2025 and previous. Not sure when that appeared. So again, the data is out there.
The iOS app changed to 4.24 a couple days after the issue first started. Version 4.38 was just released. 14 app updates and cannot fix what should be a simple "read the data in the database" issue even though the app is putting the data into the database. It is not a Fitbit to iPhone syncing issue.
I wonder how many customers Google Fitbit has lost because of this issue? I wonder how many more will not purchase a replacement Google Fitbit?
iPhone 14 Pro; Fitbit App 4.24 though 4.38
