Where did the Upsell go?

Ok guys, the subject title says it all  "Where did the Upsell go?"

Attached you will see 2 screen shots taken from my iphone running the current ios version and the most up to date fitbit app. I tried to grab the time stamp for you guys. If you check the bottom of the pictures you notice that the upsell isn't present and then appears a few min later.

Anyone know what's going on (or maybe how to keep it from popping up)?

If you don’t wish to participate in the Fitbit Premium that is perfectly fine but occasionally you will see different types of “sales, special offers, news, available updates” as the moderator posted in the link provided.

@SunsetRunner I apologize as @JuanFitbit response only left me with more questions so i'm still unclear on that issue. Maybe he could help clarify?

As it pertains to this are you saying that everyone should normally only have 3 icons at the bottom of the app and that the 4th (arrow pointing to the right saying "premium") is only temporary and will disappear?

Now if i tap the premium option and then tap the "x" to close it i still still have the 4th icon and that doesn't appear to be following the behavior of the other ads in the app where it goes away.

What i haven't tried yet was signing up for the trial and cancelling immediately.  Do yo think that would get rid of the 4th icon?

I thought it was a bug in the app as i thought 4 icons was the new norm. Is it really just 3 icons?

I too “occasionally” had the 4 icons (Discover, Today, Community and Premium) as you described in your post before I subscribed to Fitbit Premium. 
Before I subscribed my Fitbit app would a occasionally have the 4 described icons, then back to the original 3 icons then change again sporadically to 4 again. There was no rhyme or reason when the 4th (premium) icon would appear. It would change randomly. No prescribed time period between changes that I could predict.

Taping the “X” as you described does not remove the “4th premium icon” either. (Before I had premium I tried that) 

I don’t think signing up and canceling immediately will change the behavior. If your not interested in the Premium just ignore it when it appears and disappears. Think of it like the weather...it’s constantly changing.
