Which type of data does the Strava app sync from Fitbit?

Why doesn’t Fitbit sync non gps activities to Strava?

I'm glad to help you with your question.

Due to the nature of the Strava app note that the following types of activities won't sync to Strava:

  • Non-GPS activities
  • Previous activities that weren’t tracked by Strava
  • Duplicate activities (if you already recorded an activity with Strava, a Fitbit activity that occurs at the same time won't sync)

Strava is primarily used to track cycling and running exercises. So the Strava app focuses on GPS data recorded with a Fitbit device. See Strava support page for Fitbit
