Why can't I enter my own numbers for portion sizes?

Got an iOS Device a few days ago and adding food is driving me nuts. Why would I add "1 1/6 portions" ?! Is there a way to change the input type so I can actually use numbers? Weighing something with 570 grams is impossible to enter without adding it twice (Because you can't add more than 500 grams at once). I don't want to use fractions.

Hi @Dlingo

Thank you for providing us detailed information regarding what's happening to your log food.

I would like to have more details, for example: Is this happening only with your new iOS device? I mean, this didn't happen with your old phone? Do you add your food manually or using the scan method? When you enter your information, do you choose grams as the measure of weight?

Have a nice weekend !

Hi @GraceGFitbit ,

that's happening on my iPhone 14 Plus Max (On my old android I just entered 100,45 grams for example).

It doesn't matter which method (scanning or adding manually) or which measurement (grams, kgs, portions, ...) I use - I always have the same way of input:
