Why doesn't my Charge HR log to IOS Health app?

Greetings Comrades,

New to Fitbit devices and this community.

Pleased to find that syncing my ChargeHR to the IOS Health app (via Fitbit's own 2.25 app) has been more-or-less straightforward.

(I'm having difficulty understanding the sleep data the device records to Fitbit 2.25, but will research this further on my own before posing questions that may've been addressed already in this forum.)

First things first, though: Should I not expect the sleep-tracking data my ChargeHR writes to my Fitbit 2.25 app to also sync-over to the IOS Health app? —It does not.

Other Fitbit data IS appearing in my IOS Health app (e.g., heartrate, exercise). But none of the sleep data that appears in my Fitbit app makes its way over to IOS Health.

Am I correct to think that the Fitbit sleep data SHOULD sync-over to IOS Health's own sleep-tracking functionality if everything was working perfectly and as the Fitbit folks intend? Or have I misunderstood what these two apps are capable of doing together?

Many thanks in advance–

Welcome to the forums @FlyFish4Health! You're posing a very interesting question and I'd like to elaborate on this.

Please know that Fitbit does not sync any data to IOS Health; if you are indeed syncing data to it, it might be through an intermediary app on your account. In this case please reach out to the intermediary app's support so  they can look further into this.

Let me know if you have any questions! Take care. Smiley Happy
