I am nearly at my weight goal and i want to lower it say 5lbs at a time as i reach them. Someone had mentioned that i can lose my historical data if i do that. I would really like to keep the graphs because at almost 20lbs down it is a constant motivator.

Hi there @wlord, great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
I'd like to answer this for you.
When it comes to a weight goal, you will not lose your historical data for weight you've already logged to your dashboard. However, the goal progress will be affected as it will start from the new starting weight and will not take into consideration the progress since the last starting weight.
Hope this answers your question. If you need anything else, I'm here to help!
PS. I'm moving your post to the iOS app board for categorization purposes.

By 'goal progress' do you mean on the app where it states "lost xxlbs since 6/1" but it will not effect the graph data i see and set in the web dashboard.
seem like i'm on the right track?
