Hello @Relayer60, welcome aboard to our Community. Are you not able to see the battery indicator on the quick view of your tracker or you are referring to the mobile app?
Recently there has not been big changes on the way the Fitbit Alta works. With the most recent version you'll now see an alert when you unplug Alta from the charging cable. When an alarm goes off, the screen on the tracker won't turn on until you tap or use Quick View.
This release also resolves an issue where active minutes shown on the tracker did not match the active minutes on the dashboard and also provides minor bug fixes.
Make sure your Alta does not have a pending update since the lats version released was 21.37.6.
I'll be around, so keep me posted and hope to see you soon.
