This was an issue earlier in the year and an app udpate fixed it...but it appears to be back. There are several old disabled threads about this, but with the latest app update it appears to be back. Current symptoms: On iOS 17.4.1 (iPhone 14 pro max) using fitbit app 4.15 the battery is contantly used by Fitbit background activity. This is draining the battery rather quickly. The only fix (like last time) was to close the app after each use/sync. If this could be addressed like last time with an app udpate, would appreciate it. otherwise, app is being closed after each use. Thanks

@farrellcsun I am on iOS and I just checked and mine is only 1% of usage (I don't force close the Fitbit app). I'm on Fitbit app 4.16, so maybe see if your app has an update?

@Heather-S I just updated to Fitbit app 4.16. I didn't realise there was an update...will leave it open and see if background activity calms back down. Will report back. Thanks!
UPDATE May 9: The app update seemed to fix it - background usage back to low 1% when not forced close. Thanks for the tip!
