And it has messed up the display on an iPad! Previously is showed full-screen, now it displays at the same size as an iPhone.

 

By all means fix bugs, but please don't introduce new ones!

At the bottom right of your ipad screen, well outside the app area, do you see a 2X in a circle? Tap that, and that brings up the larger size.

 

When the app is full-screen, you will see 1X at the bottom right. Tapping that makes it small again, and you may just have done that by accident.
