Fitbit Update 4/29
Please update to Fitbit iOS App version 2.22 if you haven't already. This App update should help with iOS exercise logs not updating. Click here to be redirected to the iOS App Store.

Fitbit Update 3/24
It was brought to our attention that some users' workouts aren't showing up on their iOS activity log, but are showing up on their Fitbit.com activity log.

This is a known issue that our team is currently investigating. Thanks in advance for everybody's patience.

Getting on the list.

Charge HR v122

iOS app 2.22.1 (495).

If I go for a run with GPS tracking on, and then sync with the Charge HR, I get two simultaneous exercise entries in the app. The GPS entry shows route and pace, the Charge HR entry shows heart rate and calories burned.

Yesterday was the first time this occurred. Today is the second.

I have tried exiting ( double tap the button and swipe up ) the app and restarting the phone. Yesterday a phone restart appeared to help. Today is does not.

Thanks!

David

iOS v9.3.4, new today

FitBit App v2.25 (545)

Charge HR v.122

Okay, here are some more data points.

First, the exercise from 7/26 still has not sync'ed, despite several exercise events after it having done so. It was a 2 hour, 13 minute, run/walk, and has four associated step count / heart rate exercise logs in the order of "Run," "Walk," "Run," "Walk." Is the split step count part of the problem?

My exercise from last Sunday, 8/7, was also split into two logs. It totals 2:01. My remaining unsync'ed exercise is a 3-hour walk.

Today, I finally thought to look in the activity log on the website. All of the step count / heart rate exercise logs are listed, including for those that haven't sync'ed. The missing bits are the GPS logs. Perhaps the problem is more with GPS uploading for large (over 90 minute?) data sets? Maybe the upload attempts time out? I've had 90-minute GPS logs sync *eventually*.

Then this afternoon, for two exercise periods of 30 and 70 minutes respectively, they sync'ed before I could focus on them in the app.

Hi, Sandynell,

- Are you doing "Track Exercise" on your FitBit smartphone app?

- When you go to the fitbit.com website, do you see your exercise?

You'll probably need a message thread of your own for this problem. The answers to those two questions would be great things to include.

About the bug that wont sync active stats when excercise exceed 90 minutes; Why not release a patch that divides the excercise raw data into blocks of less then 90 minutes an present them separately meanwhile looking into the bug for a more proper solution?

@Heatlander @dafydd @Sandynell @CCG3 @tbates22 @Wgogle It's great to see you guys on the Fitbit Community! I recommend updating the iOS app to its latest version which is version 2.26 (check @MarreFitbit's post). This version includes some bugs that were fixed and some other improvements.

Try that out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

It doesn't work!  This is what I do on my phone..click on the exercise square just below the daily data, then log exercise, then I input the exercise and the time, and then it shows the exercise but says in red letters (not synced).  If I click on the arrow on the right hand side it says loading activity stats but nothing ever happens and it says in red at the top "try again to sync".  The only way to sync activities (like gym classes, swimming etc) properly is to add data via the web site.  Shouldn't be that hard for you guys to fix.  It has been months and months.

Since the most recent iOS update, my custom exercises won't post via my iPhone. For instance, it looks like I can add "Hula Hooping" for 50 minutes, and it provides the calorie count of 581, but when I click "add", it simply doesn't add it. It exits the interface for adding activity, but doesn't actually post the activity.

I've checked the web dashboard, and it's not there. I've restarted the app. I've restarted the phone. It just won't post. It does post activities that you have in your database (for me, boxing, walking, etc).

I can only add custom exercises via the web dashboard, which is a pain in the bum.

This situation is new. I've been posting hooping as a custom exercise since I first got my first Fitbit. This has started only since the most recent app update.

re. "Try again to sync" message for activity stats: all routine daily stats sync fine (Flex, iOS running most recent version 2.26.1).  This has happened in the past, and when i was on WiFi click where it says to sync again and it eventually worked.  Now, the past 2 weeks only the short walks sync.  What to do, other than wait for them to "fix" it again?

This issue - reported in March 2016 to which you replied - is back!  I've restarted my device, the bluetooth, and checked to be sure my iOS and FB app are updated - they are.  Still an issue.  Is it on FBs side or can I do something to get the activity tracker and exercise log to sync up?

Thanks!

Is there any progress with workout results not showing up on iOS app?

The only way to enter a workout is going to the Website and entering it
manually.
Bug in App still not fixed after 4 years of reporting this problem. If this
happened at any other tech company the staff would be fired. I am an IT
professional and there is NO EXCUSE for this.

I didnt get any step credit even when tracking through the app when engaged in dnacing for 45 minutes. I left my FitBit watch home by accident. Why is that? So what's the point of joining a challenge or using this device if it doesn't work? And I have an Android.
