Seriously, has anyone noticed any improvements or bug fixes in this release?
It doesn't appear that any of the issues posted in the last month or two have been addressed. Exercise duration still does not include seconds, the pace calculation is wrong, the elevation gain calculation is wrong, maximum heart rate during exercise is not shown, you still can't recategorize exercises, etc. The exercise details (e.g. map, heart rate graph, elevation graph, time in zones, etc) are still inferior to the 3.9x version, but they do appear to load a little quicker than in the 4.06 version.

Still takes 3-5 attempts to sync and it’s still very slow.

The ability to edit exercises is also still "broken".
I do NOT count the cumbersome "manage your data" process as a viable alternative.

The heart rate graphs show up more quickly now for manually-tracked exercises, and I can see them for auto-recognized activities. Sometimes the auto-recognized activities only give me the zone minute breakdown chart the first time I open them, but the HR graph shows up when I tap 'Back' and then open the exercise again.
But sometimes viewing older exercise entries will hang or slow down the app, or make it crash altogether. Improvements are happening, but there's work to be done yet.

Yeah, that's a trash workaround. Way too convoluted for something that was basic stuff in 3.x

Hope they listen to customers and fix soon! First time posting on this forum because I’m so ticked off about the new app overhaul. Been using fitbit and paying for premium for years and if we don’t hear anything within the next month i’m 100% cancelling my premium membership (why are we paying them to make the app worse and not listen to loyal customer feedback???) and then genuinely considering garmin or apple watch. I’ve stuck with fitbit for years BECAUSE I loved the app, and now they’ve turned it into a dumpster fire with a minimalist aesthetic!

Also, I never had this issue until the big update but my fitbit device will get stuck on the wrong date/time after it dies and I turn it back on after charging. When I resync the device to my phone, the data that was stored from previous 7 days before it died and stayed frozen on a day/time, gets completely messed up and all synced to the wrong days/times (depending on i guess how much time passed between device dying and then charging/syncing). Frustratingly, I can go into the exercise details and change to the correct days/times, but it loses all the heart zone, calorie, & active zone minute data—that data will stick remain on the wrong day. Seems like a totally asinine tech issue. If it has the data, why can’t it carry over with the rest of the exercise details. Make it make sense, it’s 2024!

I updated to 4.08 version on Tuesday the 9th. I now see correct data on today page when I open it. But now have a new problem! The weather on my watch keeps saying it needs permissions in the app. When I open watch app on my phone all permissions are already enabled. I disabled & enabled them but still got same message. I shut down phone and that didn’t work. So I kept going back & forth in app & finally weather came up on my watch. It’s only done this since the new update. Anyone else having this problem? It would be nice if when they have an update to fix a problem they don’t create another problem!
