iOS app version 4.09 is now available, but I cannot find any differences from the previous (4.08) version.

Exercise duration still does not include seconds, the pace calculation is wrong, the elevation gain calculation is wrong, maximum heart rate during exercise is not shown, you still can't recategorize exercises, the TCX export file doesn't include lap data, etc.

While updating from the app store, I noticed the privacy section has changed since google acquired fitbit ... $GoogleAppX.jpg

Woke up this morning & sleep data, health metrics & readiness score are all blank. I then went to App Store & saw new version 4.09.1 so I updated. Still missing above data. These continuing problems are beyond frustrating!!!!!

This morning I spoke with Fitbit customer care regarding the numbering of updates to think they went from 4.0924.9.1 and skipped. All of those other numbers was baffling to me. During the conversation I found that this update, 4.9.1 is a fix for Female health. I would have thought when they introduced the new update. 9.1 it would’ve been been for. Zero9.1 as most companies normally sequence updates. So again this relates to a problem connect created by version 4.09 that affected women’s health data.

I haven’t seen any difference starting around 4.02. Still won’t reliably sync on a regular basis, either. As far as the privacy, when you use Google, nothing is private.

The current version of the Fitbit app is numbered differently on the iPhone and iPad. On the iPhone it is 4.9.1 and on the iPad it is 4.09.1. Screen refreshing is still a major problem. I don’t know how many days I click on sleep in order to get my sleep data because it has not updated on the home screen. Most days I have to click on Health matrix in order to get the data because the data is not available on the home screen or only partially correct. Multiple times during the day I click on 250 steps per hour tile in order to get the updated number. I have stopped for all intents and purposes tapping on the tile to look back at past activity except in the exercise day.  I have stopped for all intensive purposes tapping on the tile to look back at past activity except in the exercise day. My exercise day total should always be seven, but on numerous occasions starting in September, the totals have been in accurate and unreliable. I am using an iPhone SE third generation, running iOS, version 17.3 and voiceover screen reading software. I am blind and have dictated this on my iPhone and hope you will be able to understand my ramblings.
