Hi Everyone-
Update 5/27/2020: This issue has been resolved. If you still see a “no longer shared” message please make sure your app and OS are updated to the latest versions.
I've merged a few posts together.
We're aware of an issue where some customers who update their iPhone to iOS 13.5 see this error message when they open apps, including the Fitbit app: “This app is no longer shared with you, to use it, you must buy it from the App store." To resolve the issue, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app. If this doesn’t resolve the issue for you, we hope to have more information soon. Be sure to keep your Fitbit device and app up-to-date to ensure you receive the quickest resolution. Thanks for your patience!

I just received my new Fitbit Charge 3 in mail today and can set up with my iPhone. So disappointing when your new toy doesn't work. I hope this issue with iOS13.5 is resolved soon. I've tried uninstall/reinstall app and still not pairing.
Best AnswerIf you do it now, you might. I'd wait for 12-24 hours and see what happens. Your Fitbit itself will still be recording your data.
Best Answeri was not syncing upon coming in from my pm walk. kept trying and somehow squeezed out one last sync before total outage. I'm just going to wait until morning.
Best AnswerI upgraded to ipados 13.5 and now the Fitbit app will not synch with my charge4. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but this made
no difference. I hope you have a fix for this soon, but please note that iPads are affected too.
Best AnswerNo longer getting that error message and it's letting start the set-up but when it starts the set-up and you have to enter the code from the device, a new error message is appearing: "The operation couldn't be completed. (com.fitbit.HTTP error 404.)
Best AnswerHi lion fish. I appreciate your detailed description of what worked for you. Unfortunately, I can’t set it up again. It just says “error 503” and “abort.” I have no connection now. I did forget the device, but now it just spins on the Bluetooth setting on my phone. I basically don’t have a Fitbit any more.
Best AnswerIf it was only that simple!!! I’ve done that several times. I’ve done me every suggestion but nothing works. I basically don’t have a Fitbit any more. Just a useless wristband.
