iPadOS version 3.85 was released this morning and I have downloaded it to my iPhone. Within the first couple of hours the home screen froze and the app was unable to find my charge for. After walking for some 2000 additional steps the information finally was updated. During that time I was unable to synchronize Using the synchronized button within the application. I was unable to get it to synchronize by backing out of the Fitbit software program, and then opening it up again. During that same time four of my tiles disappeared the step tile, the floor tile, the calorie tile and the zone minute tile. This has been an ongoing issue  That still has not been addressed. For the blind users, using voiceover as screen reading software, the edit button still has not been restored since its removal almost 2 years ago pull to refresh did not work as usual. Heart rate and heart rate zone information on the home screen was not available , other issues that I have addressed in the past that would make the software more accessible for people who are blind and reading disabled is still a problem. Our the information for many of the tiles is not available issues with sleep, percentages, oxygen saturation, and if there are graphs below oxygen saturation continue to be  Denied to those who are blind. There are other issues I would love to discuss with Fitbit software developers and disability access people within the Fitbit corporation. The offer stands, and although I have still not heard from anybody I hope that at some point, someone who understands the needs of the disabled community within the Fitbit organization, will get back to me.  Fitbit still does not have a Disability Support team for those of us who are blind, or have visual deficits, and for those who have mobility issues or other issues that a disability specialist might be able to assist with useful information, and the ability to elevate the problems to the appropriate people within the Fitbit organization to see if they can be addressed . I am dictating this on my iPhone and hope that you will be able to interpret this message.

I have 3.85 too and the app freezes on start. This problem started 3.83. If it keeps like this I will have to throw both my charge 4 and 5.

The screens, freezing, and tiles flipping has been a long-standing problem that goes far back possibly 34 or even five years. 58 keeps saying they are working on it although I have not seen that referenced recently. I was hopeful that when Google acquired Fitbit. The problem would be addressed quickly. But like many of the issues I have mentioned above, it appears that the software development team lacks the necessary skill and talent to address the issues that would make the iOS app friendlier for all users, including the blind and disabled.

3.85 was released right after 3.84.1. I wonder what’s changes.

The pinned post in this forum is still showing 3.84.1.

Fitbit rolls out updates over time. The post that says with the current update availability is does not change until the new update has been rolled out to all parts of the world. In the past I have suggested that the notice be that the most current version of the application be posted and that it should also read. This is currently being rolled out and will soon be available to all Fitbit users. Recently, a Fitbit customer service representative told me that it takes approximately one week for the full rollout of a Fitbit software update I feel your frustration with Fitbit/Google, and can only hope that things might improve someday. As a blind Fitbit user, I continue to advocate for Fitbit/Google to make their information accessible to blind and reading, disabled and whatever possible equal to that of the cited user. Fitbit c Fitbit, customer care, and Google Disability Support both reported issues for me and there has been no response either direct or indirect from them. Like many Fitbit users, we have learned to live with the Fitbit software deficits, and I stay with the Fitbit because of the battery life not because of the software.
