Hi.  My brother is looking at getting my dad an iPad for Christmas and I want to make sure it will be compatible with the Fitbit I bought my dad.  He doesn't have a smart phone, so the iPad will be the primary device for syncing.  Has anyone gotten the new iPad (7th generation) or iPad Air (3rd generation)? Are hey compatible?  I don't see them on the list of compatible devices but figure it's because they are so new.  Thanks for your help.

Hello and welcome @DigbyTheDog

Getting your father an iPad for Christmas is a wonderful gift! I understand your question has to do with compatibly. Here is a link to the current devices that are indeed compatible with the new Fitbit App here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315

My understandings that this list is current and accurate.

😃 I do hope this answers your question. Please let me know

I know this is late, but I figured I’d let people know that the compatibility with the iPad is great. My dad has decided not to use his Fitbit anymore, but he didn’t need a phone for it to sync.
