iPhone 6 and Flex 2 not connecting

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Yesterday, I updated my phone software and the app and have been unable to sync ever since. I've tried all of the recommended troubleshooting steps at least once, if not more, and nothing is working. I even went so far as to remove the device and try to set it up as new: now, it's finding the tracker, but not connecting. I'm pretty frustrated, as I've lost an entire day of data while training for a race this weekend. Any additional ideas outside of the usual, restart phone/tracker, turn Bluetooth of/on, etc.?

Hello @CarynT, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

If your Flex 2 is not able to pair to your account and as you have already tried to restart your tracker, phone and Bluetooth, I would like to suggest the following:

  • Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your Flex 2 is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  • Restart your phone one more time.
  • Restart your tracker once again, only this time, leave it plugged in and charging.
  • Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal.
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices that might interfere with the setup process.
  • Try to set up your tracker as a new device once again.

Keep in mind that Fitbit trackers can store up to 7 days of detailed information, once your tracker syncs again you will be able to see the information from the previous day as well. I hope this can be helpful, please give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
