iPhone 7 3rd party notifications on Blaze

I just got an iPhone 7 along with a Fitbit blaze, just wondering if it's compatible with 3rd party notifications? I can set calls, text and calendar events, but doesn't give me options for 3rd party app notifications.

@Famous817 welcome to the forums! It's great having you around. Those are pretty good questions. Actually, your Blaze is able to recieve third party apps notifications; such as Facebook and WhatsApp. If you're enabling notifications for third-party apps, be sure the following settings are turned on for each app:

1. Make sure Allow Notifications is on.
2. Make sure Show in Notification Center is on.
3. Make sure Show on Lock Screen is on.
4. Under Alert Style When Unlocked, select Banners or Alert.

Also, make sure your mobile device permits notifications:

1. Go to Settings > Notifications > Phone.
2. Make sure Allow Notifications is on.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to enable notifications for text messages, calendar events, email, and other third-party apps such as Facebook or WhatsApp.

Actually I think I'm lacking the latest firmware on my Fitbit blaze which
I've read isn't released yet

@Famous817 thanks for getting back to me! Actually, this release includes new features and fixes from the previous release in addition to improvements to the notifications service. This new Firmware for Fitbit Blaze began rolling out on September 22, 2016 and all customers can expect to receive it soon. Thanks for your patience!
