iPhone X and Alta do not pair

My Alta does not appear as a Bluetooth device when trying to pair with my iPhone X. However it does appear to synchronize.  I believe that it is working over WiFi or through my iPadm which did pair with the Alta via Bluetooth.  However, “Notifications” from my phone do not work.  I can pair the Alta with a S8 Note or Windows.  It appears that it is only the iPhone X that does not recognize it as a Bluetooth device.

hi! I just got my new iphone X yesterday as well and I had the same issue.

I realized you have to go into the fitbit app (assuming you have it installed on your new iphone X) and

1. click on the last tab "Account" that's at the bottom right.

2. click on the second line which should be your Alta HR (just below your name) ;

3. which will bring you to another settings page for your Alta HR and in the fifth row you'll find the "Notifications" option.

4. clicking on that enabled me to then pair my phone and my Alta HR.

5. your Alta HR now appears under your Bluetooth devices that you are connected to.

hope this helps!
