iphone X doesn't see Charge 2 as bluetooth device

Super frustrated. Already spent several hours trying the many suggestions to resolve my problem. However, none of them have worked.  First, my problem is not that it won't sync, the iphone simply doesn't even SEE the charge 2 as a bluetooth device.  I've had my old iphone "forget" the charge 2, logged out of the fitbit app on said phone, deleted the app.  New phone still doesn't see fitbit.

I've done a forced restart at least three times on fit bit.  It's also fully charged. I've restarted my new iphone. Still no luck.  I'm uninstalled the fitbit app that came over via backup and whenever I get to the part to add a new device I keep getting the notification to "turn on bluetooth to allow "fitbit" to connect to assessories" which it is on but simply doesn't see fitbit.  I haven't found anything else on the forum to try.  Please help, I miss my fitbit 😥

Hello  @SnohoTina and Welcome. I see your having trouble with your Charge 3 to show up as a Bluetooth device. I understand you have done several things to troubleshoot your issue. The best way to try and possibly solve your issue is to uninstall and then reinstall your Fitbit App. I know this seems redundant but reinstalling the app will also prompt a reconnection to pair correctly with your Fitbit App. You will not lose any data reinstalling the App. I say this because I’m reading that turning off then on your Bluetooth doesn’t always repair the problem.

here how:

1. Log out of the Fitbit app and force shut the app by swiping up

2. completely uninstall the Fitbit App from your device

3. now completely shut down your device and wait about 1 min then restart your device

4. once your device has reloaded reinstall the Fitbit app by downloading it from the App Store

5. once it’s installed, log into your device as you normally would with username and password

6. don’t touch anything in the app...just wait until you get a prompt from your Bluetooth. When prompted by your Bluetooth tap “yes”

😃Please let me know if this provides you with the best answer to resolve your issue
