new Flex2 owner

I just got my flex2.  I keep trying to download the setup but in my downloads, it shows up in a shadow with an x on it.  When I try to click on it, it either does nothing or goes away.  How do I download this.  I am on a MacBook OSX El Capitan 10.11.6.  Help please!!

It's is possible that when trying to download the Fitbit Connect Software, the site is redirecting you to download the Windows version, which explains why it doesn't do anything when you double-click on it. Please use this link to download the Mac version. It's also a good idea using a different internet browser if you can.
