new phone can't find fitbit

I just got a new phone (iphone 7) and my fitbit flex 2 can't be recognized by it.  I tried resetting fitbit and also uninstalling/reinstalling app.

Do you still have your old phone? If so, check that it doesn't have a connection to the fitbit in its bluetooth settings. If it does then remove it as it may be blocking connection to your new phone.
