"Host server not found" login issues

I wAs having trouble this morning with data input saving into the app. Specifically, I had tried water intake and manually updating sleep time. The app refused to save the data. I had my Charge set to all day sync. I went into settings to manually sync it (with the "sync now" button) it still wouldn't save the data. I fully closed the app (double tap the home button on my iPhone and swiped the app up to fully close) still didn't help. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the app (twice) both times when I tried to log in I got the error message of "host server not found. Please try again" I tried the "forgot password" to see if it was a problem with my password. But got the same message. I'm able to log in to the website with out any issues.

If it matters, I'm logged in to the website on my phone, so it's not an Internet issue. The app was working fine about 8hours ago the last time I used it. I've only had/been using the app for about 48 hrs....up until this morning I had zero issues

Welcome to Forums @celticmama! I'd like to know if you can share a screenshot with us of the error you are seeing? Please try to force quit the app by doing the following:

  • Double tap the home button on your iOS device. Your open apps will show on your device's screen.
  • Close the Fitbit app by swiping the app image in an upward motion.
  • Reopen the Fitbit app.

Once you have done that, make sure that the time of your phone is correct. Since this can avoid the app to work as it should. After that, reboot your phone and try one more time.

Looking forward to your new comments.
