steps deleted - AGAIN

I use 2 devices - NOT AT THE SAME TIME. I just switched from flex2 to charge 2 - app automatically synced the devices (as just reinstalled the charge 2 in my app) - and it DEDUCTED 20 steps - so I am assuming that it synced back to the last sync.

THIS IS A RIDICULOUS PROBLEM

FITBIT  - your algorithm assumes that we are cheaters and wear 2 devices at once - I DO NOT !!!

If à device is INACTIVE - you know -

I validated this with your support team - so why not FIX this issue ?? Or at least allow for a SUPPORT MEMBER manual overide of the deduction of steps when it is found that one is inactive!!!!  I was deducted 6000 steps on Friday because Of your ‘Cheater-world assumption’!! Of course I can MANUALLY add steps - but those DO NOT count in the daily challenges (I understand that).

At the very least, we should be able to have a function that allows us to tell the app WHICH device we are wanting to sync. Do not tell me that is already the case - because when I go in the app - and I sync - it does both automatically - and NO I do NOT have auto sync on any of my devices.

p.S. I followed all your instructions for using multiple devices - issue Remains !

PLEASE FIX!

Hi @Mishka0007. I also own several Fitbit devices and frequently switch from one to another. After experiencing some issues that mostly came about due to my timing of syncs, I came up with a simple method of making sure I capture all my steps for challenges. Yes, it’s a little more work, but it works flawlessly. And I tend to wear a device for a day or two before switching. Here it is:

  1. Manually sync device the current device, then go into the Fitbit app and Remove Device.
  2. Add device #2. It picks up info from the latest sync.
  3. When ready to switch to another device, manually sync it, then Remove Device.
  4. Add another device.
