stride length setting less accurate with update 4.47

Stride length settings have been slightly changed but with a major error inserted in update 4.47 or earlier. The size selection has been changed to a scrolling wheel in whole numbers. Settings can only be selected in whole inches or centimeters. Since I don't use a smartphone with GPS I've refined my stride length setting by trial and error while recording 5 laps (2 Km) many times and came up with 87.4 cm which put me within a meter of the finish line. The other option is feet and inches which create an even larger error when rounding down inches. One inch per step error translates to 195 feet extra distance to reach 2 Km.

Return the ability to set stride length as accurately as before this update. This is not an improvement.

@magnetix   Please send this feedback directly to Fitbit in the Fitbit app.  If you migrated to Google, tap on your profile picture, then Send feedback.  I don't even want to look at that page in the app for fear that I will lose my (very) personalized settings.

Can you add a screenshot that shows this?  I can also send feedback through a system available to Product Experts.

Screenshots for the new scroll wheel setting for stride length eliminates accuracy by having to round up or down to a whole number.

stride length must be whole centermeter.stride length must be whole centermeter.Stide length must be whole inch.Stide length must be whole inch.

My walking stride length has been reset to whole numbers and translates to 2 feet 10.3 inches but I can no longer choose 87.4 centimeters. You can't choose 10.5 inches to make a correction.

Thanks LZeeW for the advice. I've just spent the last hour and a half trying to type on my iPad screen and send screenshots to the App feedback directly. I can't seem to send attachments. Nevertheless, it's still another "improvement"  Google has launched upon us. Not to mention the extra steps to make my watch say 2 Km to finish my exercise but since I average around 15000 steps per day the distance recorded over the year is grossly inaccurate, enough to have to consider another watch. Again, its not the Fitbit, its Google.
