My husband was constantly not getting sleep data with his surge even though he wore it every night until one night he forgot to switch his iPhone to airplane mode overnight (a strange thing he does) and there was his data in the morning ! My question is: if the surge stores the data anyway and then when you open the app (having switched airplane mode off) the data should sync anyway? I can’t work out why the phone being temporarily in airplane mode should impact on the sync. He is now under the impression he needs to have his phone on at all times. Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Hi, @DBF999! The Surge stores up to 7 days of detailed data or 28 or 30? days of summary data. Having the phone in airplane mode overnight shouldn't impact the syncing of the data, the tracker will store it until it is synced. Not getting sleep data is weird. I would suggest trying to restart the tracker a few times and see if that helps in the future.

Hi
Yes my thoughts exactly. Very odd. I’ll get him to try it and maybe move the tracker to his non dominant wrist I read could help as well. I’ll let you know if it works

No change to report. The phone is never put in flight mode now overnight and the sleep stats are sporadic some nights there is a report others it’s not. Can’t really fathom out why it’s so random.
