13 year old cannot pair Alta

Hi all, I hope someone can help me...... I can't seem to set up my old Alta on my sons phone (he is 13) how can I do this please? I need him to have the notifications buzz through to him as he forgets to turn his phone off silent after school. 

Does anyone have the solution please?

Bit of confusion here: you posted this in "Ace and family accounts" section.  Are you trying to still having son in family account or in his own personal independent account?

If you are still connected to the Alta, on your phone from Today screen, tap battery icon at top left to go to "Connected to Fitbit" screen. Tap on Alta, than trash can at top right to remove it.  To double check, can go to your phone bluetooth and make sure Alta not still connected.

Then on son's phone, need an email account, preferably Google, then download Fitbit app and create a Fitbit account with his email, again go to Connected to Fitbit screen, Add a device and choose Alta just like as you added it your account.
