24 hour clock format

My daughter just got an Ace 2 for her birthday today and the clock is in 24 hour format...I’ve tried everything suggested to change it to no avail, I’ve seen on here that it’s been an issue for some time, have there been any solutions offered? I have a very disappointed 7 year old, pointless having a watch she can’t understand, I’m considering returning it as it’s not fit for purpose
