I purchased an ACE 3 for my son who is 13 and wanted a base tracker for XC. I tried syncing it to his own account to find out you can do this. So we set up a family account and he had to have a new Fitbit account. Then I couldn’t hard his birthdate because he was too old (6/12/2009), so I put in a year later.
After reading I could transfer him to a 13+ account, I can’t change his birthdate to make this happen. I’m frustrated that noting was working the way it should and without any information when I purchased the device from the Fitbit site. Please help me fix his birthdate and get this on his old account.

This is part of a bigger issue with family accounts being required for kids FitBits. I get that privacy laws require that you identify children under 13. But I'm not about to give Google any personal information about my kids. The app also assumes your kids have their own device. My 9 year old does not have a phone or a tablet.
