Thank you for your inquiry regarding the friend request for your child that you're not able to see at the moment.
Before considering other options, if the invitation was sent properly, you should've received an e-mail with a link to approve the friend request, or a notification under parent view in your personal account. Please try to look for it in your e-mail inbox, or switch to parent view and tap Notifications. Then tap the notification and approve it.
Let me know if you're not able to see the request for approval in any of these places. You can also try logging out from the app, restart the phone and log back in to see if you've received the notification.
