Ace 2 Band Broke

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My son just got his 1st fitbit.  He got the Ace 2 as soon as it came out.  He has had the tracker pop out of the band a few times during regular wear.  I was there, he wasn't  messing with it.  Luckily, he noticed it and found it quickly.  We went to Disney for 3 days last week.  He was wearing it and then noticed the entire thing was gone.  It just fell off of his arm completely.  We retraced some steps but did not find it.  With all the issues we have had, I think the band's are faulty.  What a waste of money!  I should have waited until some reviews were out before ordering.

Thank you.  I will watch for a message from them.  I looked over the warranty,  it says you have to be able.to return it.  In this case I really feel like the band just broke and fell off his arm.  It was only about 1 month old.   I've owned multiple fitbits and have loved them all, but I'm highly disappointed in the band on this one.

Hi @SCSwalker, may I just add something to what @JuanJoFitbit mentioned?  If you do decide to replace the tracker, you might want to download "Bit Finder Geo" (free) in case the tracker goes missing again.  It's saved me a few times when I've misplaced my trackers when I'm switching over to them.

Second, you might consider purchasing a third party band if the Fitbit ones keep falling off.  I've had the best luck with mesh Infinity bands that I've gotten off of eBay, but Amazon carries them as well.  They're cheap too: I've paid as little as $5 shipping for multipacks
