Ace 2 clock and sync issue

The last couple of mornings my daughters Ace 2 has shown a randomly different time which changes when I sync to my phone but reflects a different amount of sleep on the data. Then this morning it just won’t sync at all. 
I’m not new to this so know i’m not doing anything different ... does the ace 2 finally pack in??  
my own Fitbit is still connected correctly

Our team has recently released a new version of the Fitbit app (3.55 for iOS and 3.57 for Android devices). For instructions on how to check your current version and update, please visit this article and open the menu "How do I update the Fitbit app?".

 

In addition, you can follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve syncing issues.

 

If your Ace 2 continues showing different time, please perform a restart by following these instructions.
