Ace 2 clock face gets stuck trying to switch

I tried to switch my kid's clock face and when I select the one he wants, it gets stuck and just says switching. This will last days and I have to return to the fitbit app to check on progress and it asks me if I want to continue downloading. I clicked on my kid's fitbit acct, then ace 2, then clock faces. I get the screen that asks if I want to continue downloading.  I say yes and then the white screen with a mini fitbit face and it says switching and the pink indicator swings back and forth forever.  I am using a samsung s8+ with the latest updates. Not sure if I did something wrong or if i can reset somehow?

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I recommend trying the following:

 

  1. Restart the Ace 2 by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Force stop the Fitbit app and restart your phone. 
  3. Open the Fitbit app and switch to kid view
  4. Tap the account icon > Ace 2 tile.
  5. Tap Clock Faces > All Clocks.
  6. Browse the available clock faces. Tap a clock face to see a detailed view.
  7. Tap Select to add the clock face to Ace 2. Sync the tracker.
