I recently bought an Ace 2 after my daughter was begging for one to improve her fitness. I made sure it had an apo compatible with Kindle Fire, which it does. After setting the account up I realized that they Ace 2 is not a supported device to sync. My Charge 2 syncs just fine. This completely defeats the purpose of her being able to track her progress & see her challenges. She does not have a phone or anything else to sync to. This device is too expensive for her to not experience all of the features. I am ver dissapointed by this.

@Ninjacarrie welcome to our Fitbit Community! Regarding the syncing issue that your daughter's Ace 2 is experiencing with the Kindle Fire, I'm afraid to say that this tablet is not in the Supported devices list.
However, I'd like you to give your vote to this Feature Suggestion which requests compatibility of this device. the more votes this request gets, the more chances it will have to be reviewed by our team.
I totally understand how frustrating this is for you and I appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.
I'll be around if any question arises.

I have the Kids Fire 8 HD, after sideloading the google play store and thereby force loading the latest fitbit app (not enabled on the fire but works perfectly once installed as above) this app works just fine with the Fire tablet, my charge 2 syncs and is recognised without issue, and the "family account" also works fine, I can load my childs account, but it won't sync or add the ace 2, clearly the security protocols that fitbit are using to run the kids fitbit through a parent account are deliberately denying access to the fire tablet as this cannot be accidental that the family of fitbit devices work directly but not the child accounts which is bizarre as clearly many people purchase the Fire tablet as a leader in parental controls and security for kids and the fitbit ace are marketed for children specifically (clearly kids of the age group the fitbits are aimed at are not going to have smart phones so to not support the leading devices kids would have is crazy, unles fitbit are in leagues with a tablet supplier they are trying to influence the tablet market, or Kindle are looking to bring out a competing tracker / influence the tracker market, both companies need to hear their customer base and realise they can both be winners or risk both being losers as people side with one or the other!
